General Data Protection Regulation
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union and the European Economic Area. It also addresses the export of personal data outside the EU and EEA. The GDPR aims primarily to give control to citizens and residents over their personal data and to simplify the regulatory environment for international business by unifying the regulation within the EU.

According to General declaration of Data Protection Regulation GDPR whose application in Croatia begins on May 25th 2018., Marivas d.o.o. / iKroatia declares that its business is compliant to Declaration of Regulation EU 2016/679 European Parliament and European Council from 27th of April 2016 on protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.
Once the GDPR is in effect the current Data Protection Directive 95/46 European Council is repealed. Marivas d.o.o. declares that its business is compliant to GDPR in order to offer its clients adequate level of data protection and transparency in usage of such data.

What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed onto your device that enables iKroatia features and functionality. For example, cookies enable us to identify your device and which browser you use; to improve speed of searching properties and holiday homes on iKroatia webpage.
What types of cookies does iKroatia use?
We use two types: persistent cookies and session cookies. A persistent cookie helps us recognize you as an existing visitor, so it’s easier to return to iKroatia without reloading complete iKroatia homepage again.
